DJ is originally from Pittsburgh and attended LaRoche College for Graphic and Communications Design. Once upon a time he was attracted to politics, then to science, but has since reformed and picked up the change-tool of design. When he came to Chattanooga in 2007, DJ worked with Widgets&Stone under the tutelage of Paul Rustand, an AIGA Fellow.
After a few years there, DJ decided to remain in beautiful, diverse, and outdoorsy Chattanooga, but set off into the freelance world and immediately began leaning towards identity design and logo development. After a while running solo, he and Jonathan started dreaming about starting something over Tanqueray & OJ - a good start to anything. D+J was born soon after, and you know the rest.
He's one creative dude and can often be found geeking out about the most obscure design trends and artistic happenings.
