About
I was born to design. Literally. My mother was Associate Director of Design and Publications at Towson University when she was pregnant with me. My father received his MFA from Towson and has owned his own design studio for 35 years.

I grew up surrounded by design, played in a design studio. I've always had a Mac with the latest graphics software. Always, since I was a babe in arms.

In high school, my re-design of the high school newspaper won national awards.

I have worked as a student graphic designer for University of Maryland for the last four years. For three years at the Department of Resident Life and currently in the Office of Communications within the College of Arts & Humanities. During those years, I worked closely with clients, collaborated with colleagues, and worked within a budget. I know how to manage a project from its inception to its completion. I have also served as an intern/market researcher for DC Glassworks, a glassblowing studio in Hyattsville, MD.

I enjoy communicating ideas, initiatives and events visually. In a world of ever-increasing complexity, good design is the knife that will cut through the static and advance, illustrate and illuminate the message.

I would like to move into a position at a graphic design or advertising firm in Washington DC area.

In my spare time, I enjoy watching Woody Allen movies, writing poetry, and baking.
