Suzanne Augello grew up in the Midwest, painting with water and constructing castles out of tissue boxes and tape. Not much has changed. Her 2009 stint as an amusement park caricature artist provided a lens for enjoying the diversity of humanity. Her painting, illustration, and design unites in the composition and hierarchy of her expressionist paintings, creating an atmosphere through texture and form. Her paintings are impressions of the identity of individuals and artifacts of daily life.
