"Success means doing what you love for a living."

For me, that's design. From the very beginning, art has always been something I've been attracted to. As I got older, graphic design naturally assumed the role of my inevitable career path. That's not to say that my work is astounding, only that I simply refuse to do anything else. I've fallen in love with the problem-solving process and now delight in appreciating (or critiquing) certain details here and there which only designers seem to notice. Hopefully I'll be doing that for a while.

I haven't been doing this for too long, but I think I've done fairly well for myself so far. I was the Overall Outstanding Graduate in Visual Arts in 2011, picked up an AIGA 100 Show Award of Merit, and recently ended a productive internship at modern8, a well-known brand design firm in Salt Lake City. In the meantime, I'm employed as a designer on a marketing team at Weber State University. Nowhere to go from here but up. Read Less
