No Square Design is the creative studio of Alexandra Broennimann, Swiss-based illustrator and graphic designer. No Square specialises in: illustration, digital art, web design, print & editorial design and logo & corporate identity design. After studying Economy at Vienna University of Economics and Business in Austria, Alexandra came to the University of Hertfordshire in the UK to study Graphic design and Illustration. She now lives and works in Switzerland. No Square designs are very unique, they are mostly sketched by hand and further developed in Photoshop and Illustrator. Typical to No Square designs are their architectonic, slightly futuristic approach, use of negative space, and expression of movement & strong emotions. No square designs are powerful, but very gentle at the same time. They are complex and detailed, but express simplicity and a minimalist approach. Alexandra is a member of KDU and her work has been featured in various prestigious design blogs and magazines. To date, she has worked on a variety of campaigns around the globe and designed for companies such as Hugo Boss, the UN, Peugeot, Swatch, Nestle Milo, La Chaux-de-Fonds and many others.
