My name is Michael Anthony Tribone and I design and build web sites and create illustrations. I’ve been working in new media for 13 years and work full-time as a multimedia specialist for Penn State. I also freelance as a web designer/developer and create poignant, focused web sites for organizations, small businesses, entrepreneurs, artists, and non-profit organizations. The thing that gets me going the most is creating useful and unique things for people to connect, investigate, and share.

I have a background in art and not only has that experience given me an eye for color, composition, and layout, but I have a long history of peer-driven critique. By having a long history of peer-driven critique, I’m able to work with a diverse set of people and solve problems. I’m able to move and think easily as a designer and a developer to demystify the peculiarities of writing XHTML and CSS, or a content management system, or a range of standards-compliant web browsers, or all of those things.
