Melissa Green a designer and book artist based in New York.
She is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Visual Arts with a minor in Economics at Purchase College. A fellow designer once told her she won the award for caring the most about type and books for making the long trek from Purchase to the Type Director’s Club for an event.
Melissa’s passion for graphic design is nearly paralleled by her obsession with domestic and economic policy. She’s currently developing an artist’s book that aims to draw a connection between the development of print and modern economic theory.
She also loves bright colors, letterpress printing, twitter, reading about senate procedure, and making things by hand.
