I recently graduated as an art/graphic design student at the University of Wisconsin-River Falls. I have gained valuable knowledge and experience during my academic career, and also outside of it. As a graphic designer I have tried to expand my knowledge as best as I can. This has led me to many contract projects, along with securing two different graphic design internships in the Twin Cities; Big Brothers Big Sisters and Special Olympics Minnesota. These experiences have really opened my eyes to what graphic design is, and how it is used on a daily basis, and how it can be used for a positive impact on the community. Being responsible for print and digital graphic material really helped me improve my technical and professional skills as a designer. I was allowed creative freedom, but also a guideline to follow when creating collateral material for an already established brand. I am a very eager learner and am actively looking to expand my knowledge.

I am an avid believer in keeping up with the current technologies of our day. I research, execute, and learn all I can about what’s around me, and how it can be used in the world of design. I use Adobe Creative Suite CS 6 on a daily basis. I am currently learning more about the world of web and interactive design, and the benefits that brings to daily life. Websites and digital devices really intrigue me with what graphic design can do, and how it can be used.

I take pride in the work I do, and take it seriously, but it is a very creative and relaxing thing for me to do. I always deliver an effective, focused, and on-target product that fits my clients needs and goals. I am a creative and punctual individual who believes in hard-work and an efficient work ethic. I am also a designer who can work well in a collaborative environment or individually.
