I am currently working as a Graphic Designer/Art Director at GIE Media, Inc. in Richfield, OH. I have five years of combined experience as a graphic designer in the newspaper industry as well as business-to-business magazine publications. I graduated with my Bachelor of Science degree in Commercial Art from Ashland University and earned my Certificate in Graphic Design from The Art Institute of Pittsburgh. As an undergraduate, I also worked as an intern at the Ashland University Graphic Arts Department for four months.

While working at GIE Media, Inc. I have been awarded an Honorable Mention title for my designs in Secure Destruction Business magazine at The Ohio Excellence in Journalism Awards (The Press Club) for Print Visuals. I have also received The American Society of Business Publication Editors Azbee Regional Award - Central for Opening Page/Spread/Computer Generated Design for Greenhouse Management magazine.

I have a passion for learning new skills and experiencing new opportunities. I intend to expand my graphic design knowledge by taking web design classes in the near future. I also enjoy photography, drawing, painting, and other fine art activities in my spare time.

Outside of graphic design, I enjoy participating in various sports, traveling, listening to music, watching movies, reading books, playing the piano and spending time with my friends and family.
