As Principal of She Does Design, Kate Hunt works as a Strategist, Designer and Creative Consultant. Primarily focused on small businesses, start-ups, and non-profits, she works at executing projects that promote social responsibility, health and environmental stewardship. Also a tireless advocate of the design community, Kate serves on the West Michigan Board of Directors for AIGA, the professional association for design, where she actively works to foster a rich and critical conversation around design and business in West Michigan. 

The impact of Kate's efforts can be most clearly seen when producing educational and professional programming for creatives; projects that bring local, national and international voices together with hands-on learning workshops, peer networking, and community engagement. Those projects include the local Design For Good initiative, a 3 month stint with Future Partners to promote design, enterprise and humanity in Reykjavik, Iceland, and her current work to build an active framework for coLearning in Grand Rapids, MI.

In her spare time Kate is a certified yoga instructor, one-time marathoner, not-so-competitive triathlete and occasional long-distance tour cyclist.
