I am a designer with strong conceptual skills, excellent customer service, and a keen eye for detail. I excel on a team, as a leader, or on my own. I bring passion and focus to every task and look to help the team and the organization in any way possible.

With 10 years of experience in print, I am now looking to take on a role that includes digital and web design as well. I am actively training in web programs, languages, and best practices through various sources. Comparatively, I started my last position having no prior experience with InDesign and was pulling my weight within a couple weeks. I then went on to earn "Employee of the Year" in my first year with the company.

I look forward to joining your team and proving myself an asset to your organization with my passion, design ability, and experience. I am also excited to continue growing as a designer through experiencing new environments, clients, and programs as well as learning from and sharing my experience with fellow creatives. Read Less

I was born and raised in Iowa the youngest of 4 by a single mother. After a couple years in a Chicago suburb, I returned to attend the University of Iowa where I studied Graphic Design, Psychology, and a little Spanish. More importantly, I met a wonderful woman named Angie who would become my wife. After graduating, Angie and I lived in the DC area while she attended grad school. We got married, she finished school, and we decided Denver would be a good place for us to try next. We had one Boston Terrier named Lily, added another named Gus, and then found ourselves caring for a baby named Sam!

Angie and I have now been married for 8 years, our son is 3 and a half, and the dogs are old and crazy. We love getting outside, discovering new things to do around town, relaxing with friends, and watching the cutest kid alive run around and crack us up. Read Less

I hand grind my beans at work and make pour-over coffees for myself and any interested coworkers. At home I make cappuccinos and lattes and will someday be able to create latte art like a pro.

Shoes - I'm a bit of a sneakerhead. I currently own (and wear) 14 pair of sneakers which, to me, seems completely reasonable. When I see certain custom or limited edition sneakers it feels like they are calling out to me! I may have a problem.

Music - I am constantly checking Spotify, Colorado Public Radio's OpenAir, and NPR's All Songs Considered for the latest releases from old favorites and amazing new artists. My "favorites" playlist now needs its own "best-of" playlist because it is so large. I try to listen to new music when I'm brushing my teeth, when I'm at work, or even when driving 2 minutes to get a coffee. If I could see all the bands that play at Red Rocks, I would but apparently kids are expensive. Read Less
