series of self-promo postcards from 2002 based on each letter of the alphabet.
a big part of my identity process is cycling a company or product's name through hundreds of typefaces; seeing where the letters join, clash or evoke a certain feeling. sometimes this comes to focusing on one character, but there are few one-letter companies in the world. i did this series to try focusing on just one letter at a time, cycling through faces to find what made each letter still read and also breaking them apart for their individual qualities.
only one item on one card was 'processed.' all other forms were taken directly from a typeface.
each postcard had its own alliterative tagline on the back written by my friend Kirk Donnen.
