[X]Press Magazine

  • [X]press magazine is a Bay Area publication produced by the San Francisco State University Journalism department.

The layput design is a simple, bold theme that is versatile enough to accomodate the vast array of subjects that the magazine covers and the fast paced nature of such a frequent publication.

Each issue was the product of collaboration with the editorial, photography, and design groups.
Notably, for the “Green” Issue of [X]Press, the entire run was printed on recycled paper with soy inks, and our group partnered with the San Francisco organization Friends of the Urban Forest to plant trees in the city to offset the environmental impact of production.
