Weekend Warrior posters
Weekend Warrior is a musical about beginning the Freshman year at college. The main character is made the outcast, due to his head being a cardboard box. This serves to make the protagonist anonymous and their experiences of love, booze, and social trials applicable to everyone in the audience. To describe the large experience the hero will endure, they are depicted small but resolute against a collage of other main characters and important objects/symbols. Every thing in the posters are taken from the story. The portraits are taken from Facebook photos of the actual actors. The playful text and comic visual language was inspired by Eric Tan's retro movie posters and relevant to the ultimately hopeful/celebratory tone of the musical.
