Visual Language: Neighborhood Patterns

An visual exploration into the geographic and social factors that shape a neighborhood. Eight separate neighborhoods of major world cities are displayed and juxtaposed based on four factors: affluence, density, grid simplicity (order), and topography. Neighborhood maps are laser cut from chipboard and categories are depicted in color printed from a digital duplicator.
