Visiting Artist Lecture Series

At the University of Utah, the Art andArt History Department sponsors a lecture series for studentsgiven by working artists in a variety of fields. The goalof this project was to create an identity system that includedposters, a semester long calendar, and additional items of ourchoice. An important part of the project was that each design neededto be modular so that the information and images could be easilychanged for each lecture. For my project I designed both horizontaland vertical posters to accommodate the variety of artwork we weregiven. I proposed a large format calendar tobe placed on the exterior of the Art Building for maximum exposure. Ialso proposed a commemorative book that covered the year of lectures withsamples of the artwork and full biographies of the artists. The system was chosen for use by the department, and is currently being implemented.
