This is a logo for my own version of Hwatu cards—or “flower cards”—which have been a fixture in South Korean culture for centuries. Adapted into an educational game, these new cards facilitate social relationships between mothers and daughters in order to overcome the challenge of improper sex education in South Korea. The logo depicts the South Korean flower–the hibiscus syriacus–using a collage of watercolor paintings. 2011
