The previous Tioga identity labeled the company strictly as a pipe products company. Due to this misconception they decided they needed a rebrand that would instead emphasize their primary focus, manufacturing and supplying specialty pipe and fittings to the nuclear industry.
The redesigned Tioga identity addressed the companies needs through a clean and easily understood mark. It borrows the symbolism of the atom and combines it with the parts and products of the company.
The stenciled and angled letterforms along with the stamp like color blocks were picked to highlight the industrial and manufacturing aspect of the company.
The bright blue, carried over from the original mark, was paired with a dark blue and bright yellow to create a professional yet energetic identity.
