Timbuk Toys is an independent toy store in Colorado. The company is known for providing high quality, educational based and classic toys that aren't as readily available at stores like Walmart, Target, and Toys R' Us. They offer these toys at the same price point as the previous listed stores as well.
Since the company focuses mainly on classic toys, the purpose of this corporate identity was to give Timbuk Toys a nostalgic, modern vintage feel. The illustrated animals in the logo and the aisle signs bring back remnants of 1950s and '60s illustration techniques. The logo itself is of a lion and panther, archetypical opposites (sun and moon). The stars present throughout the collateral is an homage to the previous corporate identity of the store, which incorporated stars into it's logo.
