A publication for the University of Wisconsin-Parkside detailing the grand opening festivities, historical significance and educational benefits of their new facility, The Rita Tallent Picken Regional Center for the Arts and Humanities
A special 24-page publication highlighting the grand opening of the Rita Tallent Picken Regional Center for Arts and Humanities produced for the University of Wisconsin-Parkside. The publication was included as a special supplement in the Kenosha News and the Racine Journal Times. The section was also mailed to UW-Parkside alumni and friends of the university.Design cues were taken from the architecture and colors of the building. Layout was restrained by a dense, underlying grid to allow the section's photography to shine.
The project leader, John Mielke of the University, had the following to say about the project, "I had the opportunity to work with Bryce on the university's magazine commemorating the opening of the Rita Tallent Picken Regional Center for Arts and Humanities. Great experience, the book looked fantastic. Thanks, Bryce, for a design that is generating tons of interest and plenty of compliments."
