- The Office of Student Involvement (OSI) pt.1
2010-2011 - The Office of Student Involvement (OSI) releases an advertisement of upcoming events every week with the Central Florida Future newspaper at the University of Central Florida. Every month OSI releases a calendar . When working on these graphics, I am given full creative freedom, here are the results:
- Quarter Page Weekly Ads:
Before I get people asking, I drew the squid first, and then received the copy saying the week of this ad was the same as. Week of the Woman. That's when I resulted to turn the squid into a mom. Could I have changed it to something else other than a squid? Yes. But did everyone love the squid (and I work with mostly women) ? Yes.
- Full Page Ad for Orientation 2011:
- Monthly Calendar:
- Front of the calendar. I wanted to go for something reminiscent of Native American art.
- Back of the calendar. I wanted to combine the idea of the Mayflower with the Native American art style, as in Thanksgiving both cultures celebrated together.
