For the last few years, City Year has been developing its brand as an education nonprofit. Through this year's Annual Report, we saw an opportunity to tell our story in a different way, through the stories of our constituents - through the corps members, the students we work with, the donors and champions that support us. To support this, the design concept focused on the idea of "perspectives." We utilized photos taken from unique angle that we don't often use in our collateral. The cover, for example, is a unique picture of City Year's holistic impact and presence in schools. In addition, the "quotation mark" motif across the photos introduces a new concept to the photos, that each person City Year works with has their own story.
