The Call of the Wild | Book Redesign

For the redesign of the classic novel, “The Call of the Wild,” I chose to use my own photography as the main image. The mirrored image on the front and back covers is used to represent the juxtaposition between man and nature. The image merges together at the center creating an uneasy, harsh feeling. I chose to do this to represent the somber tone used by the author throughout the novel. I used a pop of neon yellow along the spine to contrast with the mirrored nature scene that wraps around the book. The interior typography is classic and airy.
