    Gertrude Stein's "Tender Buttons" Anthology

    Gertrude Stein's poetry focuses on rhythm and sound rather than literal linguistic meaning. I used this as my main concept. All of my work in this series uses syllabic rhythm to convey a hierarchy and a conversational structure.
