Tattoo’s are a part of history and culture, but sometimes people make
mistakes. A new form of tattoo ink is being used, to aid easy removal.
This book is a dynamic typographic journey of an NPR interview
discussing this new biopolymer ink for tattoos. The act of impermenance
and removal discussed in content is revealed throughout the book by red
acetate revealing and hiding text due to color interactions. Hand drawn
lettering illustrates the colorful characters while standard text
dissapears to reveal other messages about tattoos. This book recieved a
silver award at the 2008 Savannah Secession Graphic Design Juried Exhibition.
