The assignment was to create a 12 page booklet on the future of a topic of your choice. I chose ebooks and focused specifically on school textbooks, given the limited nature of the booklet. I used bright colors to reference the idea of school children, and mixed color images of ebooks with black and white images of traditional books and educational material. For typefaces I also mixed modern with traditional, using the very modern DIN for headers and body text, and Century Schoolbook for quotes. I used rounded corners and small page forward or backward icons under page numbers to reference current digital design.
