Handmade paper sculpture shown in Filament juried exhibition at University of Hawaii at Manoa in 2009.
- The spine is the foundation of the body, supporting and connecting the other structures. For something so complicated and important, the spine is actually made up of 24 small vertebrae that are attached by an even smaller surface area. These pieces are fragile in a way, much as paper is, and can be broken or shifted out of alignment, having great effects on other areas of the body.
Materials: Handmade Kozo, wire.
