Stargazing

This a  gouache painting.

It was inspired by the night hikes, led by the National Parks Park Rangers, that I used to go on when I was a kid and out family would go camping in the Shenandoah mountains. I thought it'd be fun to substitute an alien for the park ranger in this picture. He really likes his job.
