Description
The Social Innovation Fund is an initiative of the Corporation for National and Community Service (CNCS) intended to improve the lives of people in low-income communities.

Under Mayor Bloomberg's Center for Economic Opportunity (CEO), The Mayor's Fund to Advance NYC received a $5.7 million SIF grant from the Corporation for National and Community Service. The grant supports replication of CEO's most promising anti-poverty programs in New York City and seven other urban areas in America.

With both public and private support, the five programs include: SaveUSA, Jobs-Plus, WorkAdvance, Family Rewards and Project Rise. Each initiative targets a different form of financial instability with the goal of promoting a supportive and positive foundation. The branding uses the CEO's palette for unity between the five programs, as well as a recurring motif of upward movement, triangular forms for foundation and support, and semi-symmetric composition to denote professionalism and focus.

  • The logos below are for anti-poverty programs under Mayor Bloomberg's Center for Economic Opportunity (CEO). They are supported by a Social Innovation Fund grant given to the city of New York to aid the lives of people in low-income communities.
  • Below is the logo for the Center for Economic Opportunity, the foundation organization for the Social Innovation Fund programs. Features from it lead to the development of the logos above, primarily an extended color palette and adherence to New York City government standards.
