This project focused on the importance of creativity, and why schools need to keep the arts in their curriculum. I looked at the Arts for the Schools website, and I redesigned the website using the idea of a mind map, which is what many graphic designers use as a brainstorming tool, and I thought what better way to show the importance of creativity than with the concept of a mind map. The mind map is used on the homepage, and as you rollover certain sections of the site more information, or a continuation of the map appears. The supporting pages have more of a grid established to still show an order. Overall, this project really helped me understand the importance of creativity in graphic design as well as everyday life.
