  • This collaborative design system was developed in order to expose the struggles of poverty. The solution began through the creation of the hypothetical¬† organization called So What. This non-profit is dedicated to changing the lives of those that live in poverty. The "Christmas Project" targets upper to middle class individuals by giving them a gift. After opening the present and realizing is is filled only with a tiny card, the individual is prompted to give a gift to someone that is in need. In addition to the gifts, posters hung in specific locations ask the audience to consider what it means to live in poverty, specifically during the holiday seasons. The viewer of both the poster and cards are prompted to visit to find out how they can help through monetary donations as well as volunteering.
