Shirts by the Shore

This project was based off of creating an identity based from a natural object and dissecting it in terms of color, form, and individualistic qualities. Creating the identity for Shirts by the Shore was done from an immense amount of research from the conch shell. It was first photographed, realistically painted in gouache, then a simplified painting, to then execute to the computer. I tested color pallets and different studies of icon ideas.

After the identity was created I brainstormed different product and packaging ideas for the conch shell. I took multiple fabrics and brought different patterns together to make an applique t-shirt designs. I thought a canvas beach bag was a perfect fit for packaging Shirts by the Shore.
