Description
This project was to use an existing brand (in this case Sherwin Williams) and create a campaign for both an existing product and non-existing or invented product and advertise them through print and guerilla marketing.
  • Sherwin Williams Paint
"Picture Paint" Invention & Sherwin Williams Ad Campaign re-design.
  • I did not choose this company, so creating a campaign for Sherwin Williams and also coming up with a hypothetical invention for a new product from them was a challenge. For this assignment, I wanted to make sure that even though I invented something that isn't technically logical, I wanted the ad campaign for it to be powerful enough that consumers wanted to buy it even if it doesn't exist. As for the actual Sherwin Williams paints, creating a campaign for it was difficult because they have such good campaigns going on already. I chose to emphasize their mission of making "excellent" products and using that theme to create the campaign.
  • Sherwin Williams "Picture Paint" Campaign
  • Guerilla advertising portion for the "Picture Paint" campaign.
  •  First of a series of posters advertising  the hypothetical product of "Picture Paint" for Sherwin Williams using the notorious painting, "The Creation of Adam" by Michelangelo. I wanted to create something for art enthusiasts and make it easy for them to be able to paint a "masterpiece" in their home.

The copy on the bottom says:
For all the art enthusiasts, Sherwin Williams introduces
Picture Paint. A one-time, easy application paint product
that turns a home, into a masterpiece.
  • Second of the series which depicts Van Gogh's "Starry Night". This paint, although hypothetical, would be created based on several different art styles of painting masterpieces.
  • "Picture Paint" that depicts Salvador Dali's "The Persistence of Memory".
  • Sherwin Williams Ad Campaign
  • Guerilla ad for Sherwin Wiliams, depicting how long-lasting and durable their paints really are compared to other competitors.
  • A point of sale display created to be used in Sherwin Williams locations.
  • Magazine Ad emphasize how long-lasting Sherwin Williams paint products are. I also wanted to create a campaign tying family and their traditions and create that feeling by keeping the setting inside a home.
  • This is a rework of the ad I created above. I wanted to push the emphasis of a home and family setting and include warmer colors. I feel like superimposing on the wall writings would make this a stronger message. May rework this again!
