  • A designer's portfolio should be like a box of magic tricks, interesting, unexpected, and delightful. I sought to capture this magic in the shape of a booklet that has little surprises at every turn. Everyone loves free stuff, so I included a gift to thank the reader for his or her time. Since this package is targeted toward other designers and art directors, a typeface was appropriate. The reader is provided with something useful and at the same time my typography skills are demonstrated.
  • all illustrations are screenprinted with a very heavy coat of paint white on white to create a raised ink effect 
  • the books were hand bound with the coptic-stitch method 
  • the cover stock is a C120lb laid stock from Neenah paper
  • the promo package includes resume, business card, font poster and a digial copy
