Salt Lake City Jazz Festival 2009 Ads
Client: Salt Lake City Jazz Festival
When tasked with coming up with an ad campaign for the Salt Lake City Jazz Festival, the idea for playing with different jazz instruments as the basis for the concepts came up very early. Working with photographer Jamie Jones, we selected three different instruments and then I created the concept for the headlines based on the different items, each headline taking a "have some fun at the jazz festival this weekend" position for the messaging. We ended up with a set of ads, one full-color magazine, one black and white newspaper and one full-color billboard ad.
