Rustic Raven identity
This is a redesign for my aunt's future bakery. Custom letters marked with rachis (the middle stem of a feather) were made after a dissatisfaction with ready-made type in this context. Food products feature amazing custom letters and imagery; I wanted to add craft to this logo. The symbol that can be used with the type is a raven's footprint in the snow traced in charcoal. In an oval it softens the sharp image, carries a wood texture to enforce rusticity, and implies bread. The slab serif Clarendon (simple, bold, yet refined) is employed on stationery.
