Richardson Farms wants customers to know exactly where their meat comes from, how it is raised and cared for, and that it was in open pastures as opposed to crowded cages. These customers include three Austin farmers’ markets, as well as several Austin area restaurants. Richardson Farms enthusiastically invites you to visit one of these markets or restaurants to try their products.
Research the client and develop an identity system which conveys these values to new and existing customers.
The development of the Richardson Farms identity system followed a thorough process which included: generating a written brand statement, summary and keywords; conducting a brand audit of all potential competition and influences; and compiling a set of relevant visual elements, followed by sketching and refining logos from rough concepts to final designs.
The classroom portion of this project resulted in three viable options for the Richardson Farms identity system. Discussions with regards to implementing one of these systems for Austin’s finest meat purveyors are ongoing.
