The Pushin Ink Tattoo Website was a collaboration between myself and another designer who I considered to have better knowledge of body art aesthetics.
The client required several elements such as social network links, forms, motion graphics, galleries, and sound. Our focus was to establish a conventional layout that housed all of these elements. Adding a few of our own personal touches, such as skull navigation buttons that emit fire from the eye sockets when the cursor hovers over them, made the experience highly enjoyable for us as well.
This was also our first encounter with XML scripts. The music player was configured to pull selections from a playlist folder on the server. After several modifications we gained a working knowledge of the script.
