Pura Vida

Pura Vida for Children is a non-profit organization whose goal is to provide a better life for homeless children and children involved in human trafficking. Starting in Costa Rica, the initial goal was raising money to purchase land to build an orphanage. But they soon realized that their efforts would be better used when partnered with other organizations already working in that region. They have since partnered with Good Shepherd, Love 146 and Roblealto to provide resources and man-power for their orphanages. They also lead a summer mission trip titled Surf and Serve for high-school kids that involves surfing in the mornings, manpower in the afternoon, and running children’s camps in the evenings.
