Summary:
Mark and branding concept for Pryde’s Kitchen & Home store.

Goals:
To give the brand a mark, unifying color palette and graphics system that was “homey” without being overly busy.

Inspiration:
Inspiration came from the feel of the actual store. Two-stories and multiple rooms house a plethora of colorful merchandise, niche cooking supplies, spices and decorations. The store is both modern and retro in appeal. It feels warm, enticing and full of surprises.

Solution:
The final mark has the traditional feel of a vintage signage and jarring labels. Illustrated fruits, vegetables and spices give a hand-made feel and transfer into patterns for delectable tea towels, aprons, tablecloths and napkins to further the brand image while gracing customers’ kitchens. A rich palette implements a traditional and appetizing color scheme, inspiring a sigh of comfort and confidence.
