Description
The Black and Gold Project was a UMBC (University of Maryland, Baltimore County) initiative to celebrate the school colors in an artistic way. This was a campaign that involved the entire student body, since everyone was encouraged to submit a school-spirited slogan. Once the top five entries were selected, they were designed with the "black and gold" theme by UMBC students and staff. The banner I designed says, "Be Proud, Be Bold, Be Black & Gold."

Today, the banners are presented along the sidewalks of campus and they certainly brighten up the atmosphere so campus visitors, students and staff can enjoy them.
