The ask was to create a demo using MOSS (Microsoft's Sharepoint CMS framework) as an e-commerce solution to encompass all of Procter & Gamble's Brands (more than 80 brands and thousands of products). P&G did not have any e-commerce solutions in place, only individual product/brand microsites, so not much was leveraged from existing sites. To narrow the scope, we focused on a single scenario of purchasing a face cream product for this proof of concept.
