Print advertising redesign for publishing company.
  • Project assignment to redesign Martingale's print advertising look and feel to reflect new
    brand and color scheme, and to make the most effective use of ad space.
    First sample below is of the old look and feel of ads by Martingale.
  • Old style
  • 1st new format of ads
    Ad appeared in American Patchwork & Quilting and received an award for excellence in advertising from the publication
  • Version 2: cleaned up with fewer images and books
  • Version 3: changed format to 1/2 page ad to save money
    Cleaned up with just one project photo
  • Version 4: Fewer books but add one project photo
  • Final version: cleaned up from version 3 but is more clear about which book the project shown is from
  • Ad for alternative magazine with different trim size and audience
