Chicago's Poetry Foundation, publisher of Poetry Magazine, is a non-profit independent literary organization committed to a vigorous presence for poetry in our culture. It exists to discover and celebrate the best poetry and to place it before the largest possible audience.
During the research phase, I was initially inspired by the architecture of their richly layered building, and did not want to take away from it's beauty. Instead I would build an identity around it, drawing inspiration from it's structure, line, & juxtaposition, translating every angle into the re-brand of the Poetry Foundation.
