At Project Group! one of my projects was to shoot, retouch, then deliver the final images to various vendors with different specifications. Retouching included color matching, eliminating the background, removing wrinkles in fabric, eliminating specs and dust particles, etc. The task at hand was to make the product appealing in the most realistic manner. I retouched hundreds of photos for various vendors including Spencers, JCPenney, Amazon and various others. Photoshop CS5 was the program used for retouching. Below are a few examples.
Wallet for Spencers. Needed color correction to be accurate with product, as well as background removed with grey template background and drop shadow added.
This hat was for JCPenney. It needed color correction, dust removal, and a clipping mask to hide the background.
