A wooden swing losing it's blue paint, on the property of a good friend overlooking a river, in Minnesota. My daughter wearing cut-offs and bikini top. As I knelt to get this shot, I knew exactly what I wanted to do with it.
Memories of a carefree youth and summertime blues. Somewhat bothersome as I have seen this type of photo done before and feel the stylization is overused. But I couldn't pass up the reality that the swing, her shorts AND her bikini were ALL the same shades of blue. The blue that you see, is not recolored.
