- The Patterned Taxonomy is a collection of marks I had made to develop an animation. The marks were made with various materials such as bark, flowers, string, etc. I made the marks with different types of mediums as well, such as ink, stamp ink, paint, water color, etc. I dyed the paper with coffee, and then bound it with a Japanese stab binding technique. After developing all of the marks, I then collected and experimented with different textures combined to make several different patterns.
