After an inspirational studio tour with the AIGA Chicago Mentor Program, I began to see how my print-based work could live in the digital world. I received some very helpful advice and immediately started on this project.
My goal was to show how I could take a branding project and think about it beyond print. I began to think about a concept, color system, typography and such, but continued to investigate how the user would interact with the brand. I reflected on recent trips to the airport, specifically noting how the development of technology is changing the flying experience. I thought about a tablet-based kiosk to check-in, print boarding passes, and send flight information to mobile devices. Mainly, I began to think about the brand beyond the physical pieces, but also as an experience.
