TITLE / Capturing the Breath of North Korea
CLIENT / LiNK, a national humanitarian group for Liberty in North Korea.
AUDIENCE / Students and faculties on campus as well as general public.
OBJECTIVE & JOB DESCRIPTION / As a public relations officer for Washington University in
St. Louis LiNK Chapter, I organized a photo exhibition to raise the awareness about the human rights issues in NK and also to publicize the group to the campus and the local community.
The event, titled Capturing the Breath of North Korea, featured photos that captured a vivid look
into the lives of North Korean citizens. I designed a set of postcards for fundraising, the event
posters for campus and online advertisement, as well as the email invitations for faculty. Over a hundred people attended the exhibition and StudLife, the University newspaper, ran a feature
article highlighting the success of the event.
