The assignment for this project was to design a poster about the architecture in Pittsburgh and to design using the grid system. My class went around downtown Pittsburgh on our own with our cameras and took pictures for the assignment. I shot at interesting angles and really explored the city and its structures. When designing, I chose the images that showed the most differences in the architecture of the buildings and how unique some of them look. The choice of making the images black and white made them stand out against the rest of the solid colors and gave it an older feel.
